Graphics Controller With Volari Z9M GPU
The MiniPCI card MPCI-VGA provides embedded PCs with a graphical VGA interface. Due to its 8 MByte internal graphics memory, it poses no restriction to the system's main memory. Its 2D accelerator delivers fast graphics performance.
Optionally, MPCI-VGA can drive LVDS displays. However, this requires a BIOS modification. Please contact LiPPERT for possibilities and pricing.

Two IEEE1394 (Firewire) Ports
MPCI-1394 is a MiniPCI module that provides two IEEE 1394 interfaces, accessible via IDC10 connectors. With the included adapter cables from IDC10 to standard 1394 connectors, any 1394 device can be connected to the module.
The used controller VIA Fire IIM VT6307 is a single-chip, low power 2-port IEEE 1394 host controller providing PC systems with high speed, flexible connectivity to a wide range of peripherals and consumer electronics.

Two RS232/RS422/RS485 Ports
The MiniPCI Serial Extension is an extension board developed especially for LiPPERT’s Thunderbird Mini-ITX-Mainboard, but it can be generally used on every board which features a MiniPCI connector. The adapter adds two serial ports to the system. The UART's are compatible to the standard 16C550. The line interface can be configured with jumpers for the RS232, RS484 or RS422 standard
