PC/104-Plus SBC - AMD GX 500 @ 1.0W - 366 MHz
The Cool FrontRunner is a PC/104-Plus Single Board Computer that consumes very little power. Its processor is a Pentium-compatible AMD Geode™ GX 500 @ 1.0W that needs only one watt to operate at a clock speed of 366 MHz. Together with a CS5535 I/O companion and a super I/O chip, it forms a complete PC compatible system.
The Cool FrontRunner is especially well suited for embedded applications in rough environments requiring a wide range of ambience temperatures.
The complete power consumption is a mere five watts.
Also available for the Cool FrontRunner are the AMD Geode™ GX 466 @ 0.9W and the AMD Geode™ GX 533 @ 1.1W processors. These can be ordered on customer's request for larger order volumes, if either more processing capabilities or lower power consumption is essential.

Cool FrontRunner: Downloads
We support our customers with BIOS binaries and all kinds of drivers for our embedded X86 boards. Usually, there's at least support for Windows and Linux. Some selected boards are also supported with drivers for real time operating systems.Check the table state below for the list of drivers and the current BIOS version. Please contact our support if the required driver is not listed on this web site.
BIOS loader
To burn the BIOS binary into your module's Flash PROM, there is a universal loader program available that works with most of our single bard computers. This tool requires DOS to run.
