 Lead Free / RoHS Policy
LiPPERT is committed to a safe environment and has already embraced the upcoming RoHS regulation of the European Community. The European Directive RoHS, lead-free legislation (Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment), will be enforced throughout the European Community from July 1st, 2006.
To comply with the RoHS directive, the restricted use of Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr 6+), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) must be ensured.
